Challenge

BMC recently acquired a company called Compuware and wanted to give all the onboarding employees with a welcome gift. Because these were new employees, BMC wanted to give multiple branded options so that everyone could choose something they wanted & found useful.

Solutions

With the allocated budget, Brand IQ suggested using a microsite and point system with different kinds of branded kits to choose from. A microsite was a perfect fit for this scenario because there were various offerings and this way, the employees could easily order which kit that fit them best with their allocated point, indicate their sizes if applicable and where to send it.

Results

Brand IQ had a consultation with the client and helped them choose which site features were right for them and what kind of items to include in the kits. They ended up with a “Fitness”, “Hoodie”, “Polo” and “Tech” kit. All included four items – a backpack, drinkware piece & two other items.

We built to their specifications and launched the site so the employees could place their orders and BIQ collected the data, ordered the goods, fulfilled the kits and ship to each employee by the end of 2020.
